Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
For the Financial Year ending 31st December 2024
Mintify is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in all aspects of our business. We take our responsibilities seriously in combating modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Mintify has taken during the financial year to ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not occur in any part of our business or supply chain.
1.0. Our business and supply chain
Mintify is a UK-based personal finance marketplace comparison platform, specialising in connecting individuals with the best financial products available in the market. While our operations primarily involve digital services, we recognise the potential risks of modern slavery in supply chains associated with our business, including technology providers, marketing agencies, and outsourced services.
2.0. Our policies
Mintify has implemented the following policies to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking:
- Code of Conduct: Sets out the ethical standards we expect from our employees, contractors, and suppliers.
- Supplier Due Diligence Policy: Ensures all suppliers are vetted for compliance with anti-slavery laws and ethical practices.
- Whistleblowing Policy: Provides a secure and confidential mechanism for reporting concerns, including those related to modern slavery or trafficking.
3.0. Risk assessment and due diligence
To address modern slavery risks:
- We have reviewed our supply chains to identify potential areas of vulnerability.
- We require our suppliers to adhere to contractual obligations that prohibit the use of forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking.
- We conduct periodic audits and reviews of key suppliers to ensure compliance with these standards.
4.0. Training and awareness
We are committed to ensuring our employees and partners understand and recognise the risks of modern slavery:
- We provide training to key staff on identifying and mitigating risks of modern slavery.
- We promote awareness of modern slavery and trafficking through internal communications and guidance.
